Our current position

We do not use affiliate links on this site at the moment, and we are not part of any affiliate or referral programme. No company pays us to be listed, ranked or recommended here.

We do not sell software and we do not build automations for clients. Where we link to a tool, the link points straight at that company's own website.

If we use affiliate links in future

We may use affiliate links in future. If we do, every such link will be clearly disclosed: labelled beside the button it belongs to, with a disclosure shown above any group of recommendations, and this page updated to say so.

A commercial relationship would still never get a tool listed, ranked higher, described more kindly, or its limitations left out. The price you pay would be the same as going direct.

How we review

We start with the task you want to stop doing by hand, shortlist the realistic options, and set out what each one is good at, what it is not, who should skip it and roughly what it costs. Pages that are not finished are marked "Review in progress" and kept out of search results until they are.

We do not publish invented tests, customer numbers or results. If we have not verified something, we say so rather than filling the gap.

Keeping pages honest over time

Software changes. Where a review carries a date, that is when we last checked it. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.

Your data

Clicking a link to a tool takes you to that company's website, where their own privacy policy and cookies apply. We record a simple first-party click event so we know which recommendations are useful — no additional tracking cookies are set by us. See our privacy policy for details.
